A beautiful set of four vintage Bellini of Brazil demitasse coffee cups with their silver plate holders (liners) and matching saucers. The cups are white with a silver band around the outside and a thinner silver band around the top of the inside.
The saucers have a design embossed all along edge featuring rectangular columns with diamond shapes between. The holders or cup liners also have this same rectangular design but it is cut out or pierced design around the top portion of each holder. The liners / holders have a handle.
The cups are signed Porcelana Veracruz, Made in Brazil. The liners are signed Bellini, Brasil, Silverplate and have the Bellini hallmark on them.
This 12 piece set, a service for four, features 4 porcelain cups, 4 silverplate liners or holders and 4 silverplate saucers.
Measurements;
cups - 1 7/8" in diameter and 2" high
liners - 2" daimeter and 1" high
saucers - 4" diameter
In very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the china. Some patina on the silver plate pieces. I did not polish them as some folks prefer the patina.
