Vintage Bust Beethoven - Vintage Chalkware / Resin Composer Musician 9 1/2" Statue - Tan / Ivory / Off-White Office Library Home Decor

Sorry, this item has sold.

This vintage ivory colored bust of the famous musician/composer/pianist Beethoven I believe was made circa mid century, while of course, Beethoven himself lived in the late 1700s and early 1800s. The statue or bust is a light tan or ivory color with some slight contrasting darker shading here and there. The name "BEETHOVEN" is impressed on the front of the bust just below his chest area and above the round pedestal base.

This appears to be chalkware or a resin material, and is quite hefty for its size weighing in at 2 1/4 lbs. before packaging for shipment

The statue has a black felt bottom which is still in place - see photos.

The perfect item for a library, on a piano to inspire, or a living room to lend some classical (and retro) feel.

In very nice vintage condition with the original paint/finish. No chips or cracks. Overall, this bust has very light wear on this mid century piece. Original black felt is still on the bottom.

Measures 9 1/2" high. Base is about 2 1/2" in diameter and is 5" wide.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
