Amazing 3 piece glass set consisting of a rolled edge console bowl and two matching candlestick holders. They are made of glass and have silver trim in the shape of a spray of leaves on top of the orange, a pale yellow and clear glass they are made of.
The bowl is an octagon shape and the rolled edges bend or drape downward. The ends of the the 8 sides come to slight points as they descend. The inside is a dark orange accented with the light color yellow ring and then wide yellow edges. In 4 places around the rim there is a silver sprig of what appears to be wheat or leaves.
The candle holders also have an octagon shape on the top. The bases are round. You can see the clear glass on the tops of the candlestick holders as they are cased glass. There are silver rings around them on the top, center and the bases. In two places you will find the same silver wheat design on the bases of these candle holders. The bases are orange and the top octagon pieces are the light yellow color. I believe this set was made by Tiffin.
This set is quite heavy weighing at close to 5 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
Measurements:
Bowl - 11" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. (The base is 4" in diameter but cannot be seen until tipped upside down.)
Candle holders - 3" high. Bases are 4 1/2" in diameter. The top octagon shape is 3 3/4" across at widest point.
In great vintage or antique condition with no chips or cracks. The silver colored trim is also in great shape with very little wear. Someone obviously valued this tablescape and kept it in very nice condition.
