Dorothy Thorpe Champagne Glasses - Vintage Set of 6 Silver Band Barware Mad Men Martini Cocktail Glasses - Wide Silver Platinum Band Rim

Sorry, this item has sold.

Set of 6 gorgeous Dorothy Thorpe style champagne/cocktail glasses. These silver banded glasses have a "V" shaped bowl and a thick silver/platinum rim. Perfect for a champagne toast or even a cocktail. They feature the silver band at the top made so popular by the Mad Men TV series. Amazing set of survivors from the mid century era.

Size: Measure approx. 7 1/2" high. The top opening is 3 7/8" across. The base has a 3" diameter. Platinum/Silver rim is approximately 1'' (a little more than 3/4'') wide. 4-6 oz. is held comfortably.

Condition: In great vintage condition - look great. Silver (or platinum) has some very light patina - could be further polished if so desired. Hardly any wear - see close up photos for details. No chips or cracks.

These would be amazing for a Christmas or New Year's eve gathering.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
