Vintage Green Glass Pedestal Candy or Apothecary Jar w/ Lid - Pedestal Glass Jar - Light Emerald Green Dish / Jar & Lid - Retro Home Decor
A vintage green glass pedestal stemmed candy jar or apothecary jar that has a lid. It has a great "trophy" shape and the lid comes to a stylish pointed top. The jar, which is in very nice vintage condition, has a seam on one side and 16 panels or ribs on the sides. The lid also has panels that look like "rays" that start broadly at the base of the lid and taper as they meet at the top. The knob itself also has small ribs on it as does the base. The panels on the base end in a rounded shape so they look like a scalloped edge that ends just before the lip of the base.
Stands 7 1/4" tall with the lid on and 4 3/4" tall without the lid on. The base has a 2 3/4" diameter and the top opening is 3 1/4" in diameter.
There are tiny bubbles and a seam on the lid and on the jar. No markings are on the jar.
The jar bottom is in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The lid has wear with a chip in one place - see especially photos #7, 8, 9 for details. Items is priced to reflect this.
Still looks adorable and a great green color.
