Vintage Amber EAPG Glass Footed Pedestal Cake Stand / Large Cakeplate Cupcake Plate Tray Round Art Deco Antique Pressed Glass by Adams & Co.

$126.00

Sorry, this item has sold.

Description: Antique amber colored glass pedestal cake stand. I believe this tray to be made by Adams & Co. circa 1880s. It is EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass). The design on this tray makes it look somewhat like the Art Deco era.

The top is round and has a star design throughout. The bottom portion of the stand has a paneled design.

Size: Measures 10 1/4" across and approx. 6" tall.

Condition: Great vintage/antique condition. No chips or cracks. Bubbles throughout as is typical of these kind of glass. Also, an imperfection arising during manufacture is on the bottom of the pedestal (see last photo above) - there are a few little markings next to some of the bubbles where it looks like little indents during the glass making process. This is only noticeable upon extremely detailed inspection. This piece looks just as fabulous as ever!

This would be perfect to display your cakes - birthday, anniversary or wedding. The color of this cake stand would be gorgeous on a Thanksgiving table! Absolutely beautiful piece.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
