A retro choker necklace made of 111 antique garnet beads of varying sizes have been strung together to create this lovely necklace. There is a silver toned lobster claw clasp at the end. The beads are round (not faceted) and are of varying shapes and sizes - see photo closeup.
My mother put this necklace together from a longer string of these garnet beads that she bought at an auction. The necklace had broken but she restrung some of the beads for this choker so the beads themselves are quite old.
The beads test as garnet on a Presidium gem tester.
Measures 16" in length.
In nice vintage/antique condition. Clasp works well.
Great necklace for a retro boho look.
