Set of 5 plus vintage shot glasses that are marked EPNS for Silver plate that were a souvenir of Germany brought back to the US from a soldier in World War II. They each have an enamel piece inside a built up and decorative silver crest shape, each with a name of a German city and the city's/region's crest in those colors.
The shot glasses say KAISERSLAUTERN, MUNCHEN, STUTTGART, VIENNA, and FRANKFURT a.M. (There is a 6th shot that is a partial as it has been damaged and it says only WEIS and the rest is broken off.)
Measure 1 1/2" tall. Top opening is 1 1/4" in diameter. Bases are 1" in diameter.
Marked EPNS on the bottom of each, which means they are silver plate.
In nice vintage condition with wear inside, outside and all over and some dings here and there. They have some patina - I did not polish as some folks like patina.
Nice historical souvenir pieces that would make a nice display in a bar or man cave.
NOTE:
The sixth cup has a missing enamel that says WEISxxxx but the rest is missing - this is the "Plus" and it can be seen in the last photo closeup. It is damaged but it will be included in the purchase.
