Vintage Jesus & Mary Chalkware Busts - Pair Retro Jesus Bloody Head Face w/ Blessed Mother - 2 Religious Statues Catholic

A classic pair of chalkware busts of a suffering Jesus that shows him after his scourging at the pillar - he is covered in blood and has a bruise on his face and the Blessed Mother with downcast eyes. Jesus has a red robe, has a green crown of thorns and the base of the bust is a gold. His face and Mary's have beautiful detail. Mary wears a white robe with a blue under dress. Her base is also gold.
Each statue stands approx. 7 1/2" inches tall and 4" wide. The sides of the base measure approx. 2 1/3" square.
There are no cracks or chips on the ceramic statue. There is light chipping of the paint. Overall very light wear consistent with vintage condition here and there.
