Vintage and very unique blue sapphire cluster pendant necklace on Sterling Silver box link chain. The design on the bottom of the pendant consists of 13 dark blue sapphires. Six of the sapphires are marquis shaped, and 7 are rounds. The largest round is in the center. has a bit of a Victorian look.
The design on the decorative bale features 5 faceted marcasite stones. The bale is marked 925 for Sterling Silver on the back left side.
The shiny box link Sterling Silver chain is marked 925 and ITALY near the clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.
Measurements:
Chain - 16" long
Pendant - 1 1/3" long including the bale.
Weighs 5.6 grams
In nice vintage or antique condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - some tarnishing on the underside of the pendant.
