Wonderful antique ornately decorated dresser set. The matching two piece set features a Greco Roman soldier in red on the front. I believe the red material is bakelite. There are some gold painted areas around this soldier. This red front sections are held in place by an ornate brass/gold colored rim on both the mirror and brush. There are few brass metal colored flowers with some brass colored small leaves and oval accents on the handles of both pieces.
The mirror is beveled and is the antique type that is made from putting glass over foil. The brush is a boar bristle brush. See photo closeups for more detail.
A great shabby chic display set for bath/bedroom decor item.
Mirror measures about 9 1/4" long x 5" wide
Brush measures about 8 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide
Lots of wear all over. The handles of both are loose in their frames. Mirror still does not reflect well and the foil has broken and worn on the inside - see last photo. Patina on metal sections as one would expect with items of this age. G
