Vintage 2 piece ceramic rooster or chicken made in Italy. This chic chick is white with yellow, green, orange, pink and red along with some black accent color for detail. There are some flowers painted around the base. Eyes have a lot of detail - look like they are bedroom eyes!
This is a 2 piece jar/container/cookie jar with a base that is the chicken's body with wings, and the lid that is the chicken's head and tail sections.
The rooster is handpainted and signed ITALY on the bottom.
Great country farmhouse or kitchen decor item that can also be used as a storage container or simply a decor piece on a shelf or table.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear on the bottom and underside as would be expected a vintage item.
Measures approx. 12" beak to tail, 11" high (with the lid on) and about 6" wide.
