LARGE Jesus Wall Plaque Chalkware - Vintage Plaster Wall Decor - Mid century Religious Decor - Gorgeous Sacred Heart Savior Christ
A very large and rather heavy beautiful chalkware or plaster plaque that is 3 dimensional. The colors are in muted tones - a bit more subtle than the photos appear. What is special about this plaque is that Jesus holds his sacred heart in his hands. Usually it is depicted where the heart actually is in the chest.
There is one hanging loop on the back of this wall plaque from the mid centuyr. The colors and facial expressions are sublime and the detail is fabulous, especially the eyes which are blue.
This mid century Jesus plaque is in nice vintage condition considering its age - no cracks or chips in the plaster/chalkware. Some light chipping of paint all over. Great for the shabby chic look.
Measures 11" high x 8 1/2" wide. About 2" deep.
