Vintage or antique large ivory colored pottery pitcher or ewer with a handle that also features a copper colored band around the wide section of the body. The band is embossed with vertical lines on it. There is a ring of an embossed design in the pottery (loops) on the top under the neck and a series of rings in the pottery around the bottom section.
The bottom of the jug has brown felt on it to protect the surface it is placed upon from scratching.
The pitcher or jug is rather heavy weighing in at 5 lbs. and 4 oz. before packaing for shipment.
Measures 14" tall and is about 7" in diameter at its widest point.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are small dark brown spots of wear or discoloration in various places - see photos for detail.
