Amazing and totally adorable 6 piece coffee pot with grease jar, salt, and pepper shakers. (Pot, lid, grease jar, lid, salt, pepper = 6 pieces).
Feature an ivory china background with a rooster and dusty pink flowers on the front of each. The tops and bottom sectinos have a "basket weave" pattern in the china. The grease jar is marked on the front GREASE and there is an "S" on the salt shaker and a "P" on the pepper shaker. The rooster with flowers and leaves is only on the front of all of these pieces, and the backs are plain ivory colored.
The pieces were made in JAPAN and are all marked on the bottom.
Measurements:
Coffee pot - 8" high with lid on, 6" wide from tip of spout to end of handle
Salt & Pepper shakers - 3" high, 2" diameter at base
Grease jar -
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Wear on bottoms, light wear on paint on the rooster on the coffee pot and some crazing as would be expected vintage items from the late 1940s to 1960s era - see photo closeups.
