Tall silver tone crucifix for an altar with a beautiful top center floral medallion and ornately decorated ends to the cross that Christ hangs on. I believe this is made of pewter and is quite heavy weighing in at 1 lb. 11 oz. before packaging for shipment. The base has 6 sides that are each 2 1/2" long.
Measures 13" tall. Hexagon shaped base is 5" across at widest point. Crucifix is 6" across.
Marked JB on the underside for the Jennings Brothers Co. - see NOTE below about the Jennings Bros. Co. and their metal foundry that was located in Bridgeport Connecticut from 1980 to the 1950s.
In nice antique/vintage condition with light wear commensurate with vintage/antique age. Light spot on the base - see photo #5.
NOTE:
The Jennings Brothers Metal Foundery was founded by the Jennings Brothers in 1890. Their foundry was located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and specialized in metal art that was created by their staff of artists. They produced clocks, bookends, statues, metal cases, candelabras and some silver-plated utensils. The Jenning Brothers original items were signed with the initials "JB". The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company went out of business in the early 1950s.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
