Vintage Handblown Amber Glass Pitcher - Mod Mid Century Hand Blown Glass Ewer w/ Handle - Funky Wide Mouth Retro Amber or Brown Glass Jug

$15.30

Sorry, this item has sold.

This adorable amber glass pitcher or ewer has a great mid century modern shape overall but the wide top opening and the thin neck and sides make it even cuter. This piece is made with hand blown glass, giving it quality that current glassware lacks - there are small bubbles in various places including one on the rim, and bottom glass thickness is not uniform - see photos. There is a pontil on the bottom as one would expect from such a hand blown item.

It is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The pitcher is made of clear amber colored glass and does not have any markings on it.

Measures about 8 1/4" high to top of upturned spout. Base has a 3" diameter. Top opening is 3 3/4"" across on the short side and 4 1/4" across to the spout.

Great mid sized ewer or pitcher for entertaining, display, or everyday use.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
