Vintage Dee Crowley statue by Austin Productions dated 1985 with the original price and Austin Sculpture labels still intact. Original price in 1985 was $45 - see last photo. See NOTE below for more about Austin Co. It is signed Dee Crosby on the back of the base and also has Austin Productions and the year 1989 on the side.
This rather heavy statue by Dee Crowley is one of those in the Bright Eyes series of works that he did in the 1980s. This is one of the larger statues that were created by Austin Productions.
Measures about 9" x 8.5" x 5.5.
Weighs over 7 lbs. without packaging for shipment.
In great retro shape with no chips or cracks. Looks great!
Nice gift item for a dad.
NOTE:
Austin produced sculptures since 1952 and many have been discontinued over the last 40 or so years. However, styles and designs which may once have proven unpopular for a period are often now highly desirable again and this has created significant interest in many older Austin Sculptures. Many discontinued sculptures have gone on to become highly desired collectible items which are now hard to find and difficult to replace. As with many discontinued items, their rarity will most likely increase in the future.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
