Antique or vintage Moroccan tea or water kettle that is embossed / hammered with beautiful and intricate designs all over. This type of water kettle, which is on the large size, is or was typically used to provide hot water for family members for washing or cooking.
The body of the kettle is copper. The side portions of the handle and the knob on the top of the lid are brass making for a nice bit of contrast. (The center section of the handle where you hold onto the kettle is copper.)
Vintage copper and brass water kettle is a larger size than most, and it is very well worn - a great country cottage or country farmhouse decor item.
This vintage water kettle measures:
Height - 12"
Width from tip of spout to the opposite side - 13"
Diameter of kettle section - 8"
Diameter of the lid - 4 1/2"
In good shabby chic vintage condition with wear, spots and patina.
As this kettle was actually used in some past time, there are some water deposits/discoloration in the interior and bottom as would be expected.
Perfect shabby chic piece!
