Double hinged 925 locket with two hinged outer sides and two hinged interior sections. This large locket opens up to have 4-sections.
(As you can see in photo #3, each of the etched 2 outer sections is also hinged and open up, making a total of 4 sections inside this locket.)
This large doublet vintage sterling silver etched heart locket features swirly etched designs and scalloped crosshatching trim around the edges on both front and back.
The inside of one side of the locket has a 925 marked. The bale has decorative etching on both sides.
The locket is in nice vintage condition with slight wear consistent with vintage age. Has some patina - I polished it lightly.
Locket measures approx. 1 1/4" (including bale) and about 7/8" wide. Chain is 18'' long and the clasp works well. Chain is marked 925 also.
The locket weighs 10.2 grams (including the chain).
