4 adorable vintage demitasse cups by Rosenthal Germany from the mid century with a traditional design that is called Monbijou. Rosenthal began making this pattern in 1896 and producded Monbijou for many years, but is now discontinued. The porcelain is fine and lightweight, giving them a dainty feel in the hand.

These white espresso cups feature a scalloped bottom edge and some decorative embossed designs along the top and on the scalloped bottom edge.

Stamped on the bottom with green stamp - ROSENTHAL CLASSIC GERMANY.

Measure 2 1/4" high and have a 2 1/4" diameter at the top opening. Bases have a 2" diameter.

No chips or cracks. In nice vintage condition - the little set is very sweet.
