Set of 6 cork backed place mats featuring the works of A R Quinton, an English artist. See NOTE below for more about him. One of these still has the original label - CLOVE LEAF Made in UK - on the back as I think these were never used.
The placemats were made by The Salmon Studio and are dated 1988 on the bottom right of each depiction of an A R Quinton painting. Each painting has a fine olive green line around it, and then with a wide space of textured-looking ivory all around which gives them a matted look.
The 6 works are:
The Ford Kersey
East Cliff, Whitby
Ullswater and Helevellyn
Bray Village
Ludlow From the Hill
Mars Hill, Lynmouth
The placemats measure 11" x 8 1/4".
In great vintage condition - no stains - look like they were never used.
NOTE:
Alfred Robert Quinton (1853–1934) was an English watercolour artist, known for his paintings of British villages and landscapes, many of which were published as postcards, which are popular with today's collectors. His paintings have also been published in many calendars. Well over 2,000 of his paintings were published between 1904 and the time of his death.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
