Wonderful lidded porcelain trinket box from post war Japan that is black with hand painted dark pink flowers with green leaves/stems. There is gold accent trim on the top around the flowers, on the rim/edges and on the 4 short pedestal legs. The shape of this cute trinket container is oval.
The original sticker on this two piece item is still intact! Sticker says ORIGINAL ARNART CREATION JAPAN. The hallmark is stamped into bottom of this retro trinket box and the number 7879.
This china trinket box with lid is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approx. 5 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. Is about 2" high.
