Pair Vintage Silver Band Glass Candlestick Holders - Short Mod Candlesticks - 2 Vintage Glass Candle Holder w/ Wide Silver Band Mid Century
Smashing set of 2 glass candle holders with great wide silver (or platinum) band at the top. They are typical mid century mad men era in style. They are hollow and you could fill them with colored water for decoration if you chose to. As they are hollow, the candle would go down to the end of the silver section where it tapers a bit around the opening making a slight rim - the candle would sit on this rim so that it would not go all the way down to the bottom of the hollow glass holders.
Nice heavy glass with a thick bottom that narrows to the top.
Measure 3 3/4" high. Bases have a 2 1/2" diameter. (Silver band is about 1 7/8" long.)
In very nice vintage condition with no chips, dings or cracks. Silver is in nice vintage condition with light wear commensurate with vintage age - circa 1960s.
