Two pretty little girl porcelain figurines by Lefton made in Japan circa mid century.
The girl in a pink dress with dark pink polka dots has blond hair and holds her bonnet that has a of small blue colored flowers. Her hair also has some blue flowers in it. Her little hands and facial features are very fine. She has long eyelashes and a sweet face. She is number.
The girl in the yellow dress with pink polka dots, who is slightly larger, wears her bonnet. She has brown hair and has a basket of tiny pink flowers on her arm. The has a parasol but the handle/pole is missing. She is number 1868 N.
The pink girl has the original foiled sticker that says Lefton's, REG USA PAT, EXCLUSIVES, JAPAN and the number. The yellow girl has the number 1450 A.
They measure about:
Pink girl stands 4 1/4" high.
Yellow girl stands 5 1/2" high.
Light wear on the bottom of these figurines and upon close inspection, some chipping on the edges of the tiny flowers. Yellow dress girl is missing the handle/rod of her parasol. Price reflects these conditions.
NOTE: If you are interested, there is also a blue girl in a polka dot dress. Her parasol top has completely come off and she is also missing her parasol handle. I will include her in the box if you would like to repair her and have all three ladies. Let me know if you would like me to include her at no extra charge.
