This pair of vintage mid century brass, marble and brass colored metal candlesticks feature a distinctive brass piece that is on a square Italian marble base giving them a very clean look. (Seems like they are made with a brass piece in the center of each stem that is sandwiched in by brass-colored metal pieces giving the brass portion a very slight two-tone look.)
The top brass colored metal cup that houses the candle holder has 2 rings going around the cup portion, and a slight design on the brass stem. The end of the brass colored metal section has a round base that sits on the marble. Inside the wider sized cup on the top, is the actual holder for the candle - it holds a standard size dinner taper candle - see last photo.
Measures 4 3/4" high. Square marble bases measure 4" on each side. Quite heavy - each one weighs nearly 1 1/2 lbs.
In nice vintage condition with light wear commensurate with vintage age. Each still has the original sticker that says FINE MARBLE BASE MADE IN ITALY on them. Original light brown felt is on the bottom of each. See photos.
