Beautiful larger sized round antique gold filled locket featuring a feminine slightly oval shaped carved pink and ivory shell cameo set onto the front of the round locket.
The front with the inset cameo is also etched. The interior of the locket is hallmarked WH Co. in the center and the numbers 1/20 12K which means it is gold filled with 12karat gold.
The back side of the locket is plain with no decoration.
The round locket is just a tad bigger than 1" in diameter.
The antique locket hangs from a dainty vintage gold filled chain that is 17" in length - it is also marked gold filled on the clasp and has the hallmark AJC CO.
The locket is from the early 1900 - 1920s.
Gold filled metal locket necklace is in nice vintage or antique condition with some age appropriate patina and wear. Locket opens and secures well. Chain clasp is secure.
