Elegant 1930s larger trophy vase made of black amethyst glass with a round pedestal base. While the base looks black, when held to the light, it has an amethyst color - see photo #5. I believe this was made by the L.E. Smith Co.
The large vase has a round base and is embossed with a delightful heart-and-maiden design on the front side. The back side is smooth glass. The top is scalloped.
This vase is the larger sized vase with the round base - there is a matching but smaller version that has the square base.
Measures 8" high. Base has a 4 1/4" diameter. Top opening is 5" across.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
