This pretty Arthur Wood mid century vintage teapot is decorated with a young lady in a long dress and bonnet. there are also red, blue and orange flowers and tulips on one side and three tulips alone on the other with a cross-hatch pattern or design used over the images on both sides. The background is a cream or light yellow color. There is gold trim on the rim of the top opening, on the end of the spout, on the handle and top knob on the lid.

Marked on the bottom with hallmark and the words ARTHUR WOOD MADE IN ENGLAND, and the pattern number which is 3886. This back stamp dates this teapot circa 1954.

Stands 5 1/4" high to top of knob on lid. About 8 1/2" wide from tip of spout to end of handle. About 6" wide at widest section. Base has a 3" diameter.

In nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. There is some crazing and a crack on bottom of lid - see photo #5. (This does not show as it is well inside the teapot when in place.) Item's price reflects these conditions.
