Mid century pair of hand painted china/porcelain angels mounted on black tiles and edged in a brass colored metal in looped design. This gives these mid century wall hangings a 3 dimensional look. The angels feature pastel colors and gold trim, and flowers and fluffy clouds adorn them.
Original green velvet is on the backs of each. The tiles are square but the angels are mounted on the diagonal so they hand in a diamond shape.
There are also the original stickers still intact on each of these - they say "HAND PAINTED ART JAPAN".
The two angels face each other on the wall. There is a round hoop on the top of each to hand them on the wall.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks on the angels. Light wear on tiles - see photo #4 for a section that has a mark. Some wear to brass colored trim - see photos.
