SCULPTURE AUSTIN PRODUCTIONS statue or figurine entitled Our Day by sculptor ALEXANDER DANEL that is dated 1991. Original sticker is still on the bottom of this chalkware piece that would be a great wedding cake topper, bridal/shower table decoration or a stand alone gift for a new couple.
The figurine is signed DANEL in cursive on one side and on the back side it says AUSTIN SCULPTURE and then the copyright symbol and the year 1991. Original black felt is on the bottom.
Ivory antique finish on this statue.
Measures approx. 7 1/2" high.
In very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Looks great.

Austin produced sculptures since 1952 and many have been discontinued over the last 40 or so years. However, styles and designs which may once have proven unpopular for a period are often now highly desirable again and this has created significant interest in many older Austin Sculptures. Many discontinued sculptures have gone on to become highly desired collectible items which are now hard to find and if you own one very difficult to replace. Owners of current Austin Sculptures productions should take very good care of their sculptures because their rarity may increase in the future.
