Vintage Japanese Noritake Morimura Lidded Vegetable Dish ca 1920 to 1940 Floral Fleur de lis Handle - Florals Yellow Pink Green & Gold Trim

$25.20 $28.00

This is a Hand Painted Vintage round lidded serving bowl that is ceramic with a fantastic finial or knob on the lid. The round bowl is a cheerful yellow color and has flowers in 2 shades of pink on the lid and the center of the bowl These flowers are surrounded by a tan colored woven design. The top of the lid is accented by a gold trim on the fleur de lis shape. Marked on the bottom M for Morimura and Made in Japan

Measures approx. 8 1/2" in diameter at the widest part. Is about 6 1/2" high to top of the fleur de lis finial on the lid.

In nice vintage condition with little wear to the gold trim on the edges. There is a spider like crack on the bottom of the bowl that can be seen from the inside and from the outside - see photo close up for details. Item is priced to reflect this condition.

While there is a crack on the bowl, it is still a bright and colorful dish and would perk up any shelf or table.

Red Hallmark with an "M" for Morimura in a wreath and "Made in Japan". I believe the use of the "M" gives a date from 1921 to 1953.

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
