Retro Wood Jewelry Chest by Eureka MFG Co, Inc., a division of Reed and Barton Silversmiths. I believe the wood is Cherry.
Vintage jewelry box or chest has a deep red velour interior with two layers or compartments. The top compartment or layer is divided in two has a handle on the center and lifts out. The inside of the lid has 6 small hooks for necklaces with a storage pocket below. The bottom layer has three compartments - the center one is larger than the two that are on either side of it. Has two brass looped handles on either side.
There is also a brass name plate on top to personalize the box that was never engraved. There are the remains of3 out of 4 round felt pads on the bottom - one is missing.
The box is in nice vintage condition with a few minor cosmetic flaws/marks - most noticeable is the 3/4" long scratch on the top left. Please review the photos for more detail. Some patina and wear on brass.
The original sticker is still intact on the bottom and says EUREKA MFG CO UNC, (Div. of Reed & Barton Silversmiths), Norton MA 02766 Since 1926 and Made in the USA. Printed on the bottom are the numbers/letters 2/94VR and 617.
Measurements:
Approx. 11" long x 7" wide. The chest is 4 1/2" high.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
