Very tall wall hanging that is a gold syroco that features an urn decorated by cherubs that has a fruit tree with fruit that look like oranges and leaves growing in it.
This wall hanging is so tall that it goes off my photo background - sorry for the look of my son's childhood wallpaper. (I do need to redo that room one of these days.)
The gold pot with the plant growing in it sits on a shelf at the bottom section of this long piece - all of this is a one piece item. This 3D wall hanging is a great mid century vertical arrangement. Very striking!
The name of the company that made it is embossed on the back - Syroco or the Syracuse Ornamental Company out of Syracuse, NY. It was made in 1964 as indicated on the back side as well. This type of decorative and ornate Syroco wall hanging is typical of the 1960s and 1970s as Syroco Co. made a number of mid century wall hangings in this style.
There is a hook in place in the center back to hang this on the wall.
In very nice vintage with no chips or cracks - looks great.
Measures about 29 1/2" long and about 7 1/2" wide at widest point. About 2" deep at deepest section (bottom shelf looking portion.)
