Vintage large Royal Haeger pottery pitcher or ewer in the 22 K Gold Tweed pattern. The Gold Tweed was a unique glaze introduced in the 1960's. This is a larger sized pitcher made by Royal Haeger and a great retro home decor piece. The outside is an ivory color with the 22 K gold overlay. The inside is solid ivory colored. Great bulbous bottom section and graceful handle with a little curl on the end. Has nice pattern detail on the center section - see photo #3.
The bottom has the stamp and an embossed ROYAL HAEGER USA 4012 on the bottom.
Measures approx. 13" high. The pitcher is about 8" across at its widest point - the bottom section.
In very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear as would be expected an item that is circa 1960s. There is an area under the top on one side with some discoloration - see photo #5.
