A touching sign of love from a woman to a man! This 925 Sterling Silver Heart Shaped Pendant on a Sterling Silver box link that is marked 925 and Italy is engraved with a unique love message. This one is from a woman to a man - it reads, "To Gilmore From Mary June 2 '41".
This vintage or antique (1941) silver heart pendant features a central large sized slender heart hanging on a dainty fine box link that is also Sterling Silver. The text on the heart, a love message from a Mary to Gilmore, is on one side. The other side of the heart is plain with no engraving.
The fine box link silver chain is approx. 18" in length
The engraved heart measures approx. 1 1/4" long including the bale by about 3/4” wide.
Weighs 5.5 grams (pendant and chain)
The retro pendant is in nice antique/vintage condition with surface wear commensurate with antique/vintage age. The newer vintage 925 chain is in good vintage condition. The spring ring clasp works well.
The chain is marked 925 ITALY on and near the spring ring clasp. The locket is unmarked but has been tested as Sterling Silver.
