This is a wonderful vintage 7 piece set of hand blown etched glass. This pitcher and 6 glasses are in a red color and feature atomic bursts or sunbursts etched on the pitcher and all of the glasses. The sunbursts, because they are etched into the glass, appear to be white against the red glass.
The pitcher has a pinched spout and a clear glass handle and a mod shape. The glasses have a traditional shape with a heavy glass bottom.
The 7 pieces are all hand blown as evidenced by the bubbles in the glass in various places, especially in the pitcher, and the clear glass handle attached in the typical hand blown glass way on this vintage serving set. This pitcher is lightweight and delicate, while the glasses have some heft to them. Bases are thick glass on the glasses.
Measurements:
Pitcher stands 7" tall. Top opening has a 3 1/2" diameter. Base has a 4 1/4" diameter.
Glasses are about 3 1/2" tall. Both the top opening and the bases have a 2" diameter.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Still have nice red red color - when held to the light, show some light wear to the red coloring on some of the glasses and pitcher in various places.
