Unusual retro mid-century pair of wall light fixtures or sconces with their original "Moe Light" labels intact. SEE NOTE below about Moe Light Co. - the labels can still be seen on the backs.
These two vintage light fixtures feature a curved off-white glass front. The glass has a small crossed lined crisscrossed cross pattern in a gold color in it. There is a brass colored band around the front that curves across the glass. This band has rectangular shaped vertical cutouts around it, and has a little round ball screw piece on the very center front.
Simply a great retro pair of Moe Light Company brass colored metal, decorative, electric light fixtures from the early 1950s.
Each wall fixture has the original Moe's Lighting sticker on the back side that says DESIGNED AND MADE BY MOE LIGHT, Fort Atkinson Wisconsin.
There are two brackets that were included with these fixtures used for hanging - see last photo.
Each fixture measures about 7 1/2” high and 4 1/2” wide. They are 4” in depth from the wall.
The fixtures show overall wear including scratches, tarnishing, light discoloration, spotting, bends and dents found in the metal and wiring. *The wiring is original on these items and should be replaced.
*The lights themselves and the switches for the lights (on the bottom of each sconce to turn them on and off) do work.
NOTE: The Moe Light company was founded in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin by the Moe brothers Moe Light in the late 1940s. The company was bought out and became Thomas Industries in 1953, which means this fixture dates from the late 1940s and very early 1950s, the timeframe of the popular mid-century designers like Charles and Ray Eames.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
