A classic statue of St. Joseph holding a sleeping baby Jesus in one arm. The statue is in browns, tans and green colors with dark gold trim on Joseph's robe. The child Jesus is asleep and His head rests on St. Joseph's chest.
The base is marked CS 12. The CS stands for Colombia Statuary Co. that was one of a few manufacturers of religious figures during the early 20th century. These were made during the mid 50s and late 60s.
Joseph stands on some green grass on a blue-grey base. Jesus wears a brown robe, hold a dark cross in his hands, and His face has beautiful detail. Joseph has a white lily frond cluster tucked in his other arm. What makes this vintage statue unique is that Jesus' eyes are closed. Baby Jesus holds a small cross in his hand/arm while he sleeps.
I believe this statue is from the 1950 to 1960s era. The bottom shows its age - see photo. Age and slight chipping of paint make this a wonderful shabby chic or cottage chic decor item.
The statue stands approx. 8 1/2" inches tall. The sides of the base measure approx. 3"x3".
All facial features, fingers and toes are intact and there are no cracks on the statue. There are spots that have some wear and chipping consistent with vintage condition. On the bottom front in the green area, looks like a small repair was made - see photos.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
