Vintage Apple Peddler w/ Girl Statue - 2 Pc Set w/ Figurine and Umbrella - Old Man Selling Apples Statue

Wonderful, colorful and unique figurine from the early to mid century that features an old man in a floppy hat weighing out fruit for a young girl in a blue dress. She has a basket to take her fruit home. A puppy dog begs just below the whole scene.
The scale is gold in color and they are all under a patchwork umbrella. This umbrella, which is red, yellow and light blue with patches an an hole in one panel that is supposed to be there, is removable. The umbrella has a metal pole that fits through a hole in the back of the statue and rests in an indentation on the back.
Measures approx. 10 1/2" with the umbrella in place. Base is about 5" x 4 1/2".
In great vintage condition. I see no cracks in the ceramic. Some small paint loss and light wear in places as would be expected an item of this vintage age - circa 1940s to 1960s.
Has the remains of a sticker on the bottom but it is not legible.
