Lovely Romanian Crystal bicentennial decanter in amazing vintage condition. It is circa 1976 as it celebrates America’s Independence with the front etching.
The etched area, most of the front, has the dates 1776-1976 in a curve at the top between two American flags. The American flags on the sides are from the different years - the 1776 version on the left and the 1976 version on the right. The Liberty Bell is in the center.
It appears this vintage decanter was never used as the original sticker is still intact on the bottom that says MADE IN ROMANIA.
Features a very nice mid century mod / modern cylindrical shape and a short cylindrical stopper with a flat top.
The flat topped stopper measures 2 1/3" across in diameter at the top and is about 3" long.
This retro patriotic decanter is in very nice vintage condition. The original foil sticker is on the bottom - see last photo. No chips or cracks. Some very light wear where the glass stopper fits into the bottle as would be expected with a vintage item that was in storage.
Measures approx. 10" tall with the stopper in and has a 5" diameter at the body of the decanter. The decanter without the stopper is about 8 " tall.
