Amazing tall and thin hand blown art glass decanter with a golden amber or dark yellow bowl with a clear glass base and clear glass stopper. This vintage decanter has a larger bulbous body and tapers up to a thin neck. The section where the pedestal base connects to the body has a decorative flourish of swirls and what seem like petal shapes - see photo #3.
It is hand blown glass and has the typical bubbles, variations in thickness and even some of the amber used for color trapped inside the glass - see last photo.
This mid century decanter was made in *Italy.
The decanter with the stopper inside measure 19 1/2" tall. The decanter bottle alone is 15 1/2" high. The stopper itself measures 6" in length.
In great vintage condition with light wear. No chips or cracks in the bottle/decanter. Some wear on end of stopper and on inside of glass where stopper is as would be expected an item of this age.
*NOTE: We purchased this decanter along with a matching one that was an eggplant purple color at an estate sale. The eggplant decanter still had its original sticker in place on the base that said MADE IN ITALY.
