A vintage shield shaped turquoise blue and floral Enamel guilloche Sterling Silver locket on a new Sterling Silver chain.
The locket has 2 oval photo wells inside. The front features a transparent aqua blue enamel with 3 pink flowers (roses) and green leaves as well as some blue ribbons (bows) on the left and right top sides. The pattern on the silver beneath the transparent aqua blue enamel is a type of wavy geometric design. The back of this locket is plain silver with no design.
The locket pendant has a hinge on the bottom and it opens from the top.
Inside the locket are two oval shaped photo compartments. Both wells have the frame intact. One of the wells has an old black and white photo of a young girl. Under this well is stamped STERLING. The other well has a textured background similar to the pattern under the guilloche enamel on the front of this vintage locket.
The pendant locket is circa mid century or earlier. It hangs from a new twisted link Sterling Silver chain with a spring ring clasp.

Locket pendant is 1 1/8" long x 5/8” wide at the widest point (near the bottom)

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with wear commensurate with antique age - circa mid century or earlier. While the locket closes with a snap, when closed the sides do not touch and have a small gap. See photos for detail. Item’s price reflects condition.
Markings:
Locket marked STERLING on the inner well behind the photo of the young girl.
Chain is marked 925 on the clasp and 925 ITALY on a tag near the clasp.
