Vintage etched 12K yellow gold filled Heart Shaped locket with a 14K gold filled chain. This circa mid century etched heart locket pendant necklace features a heart shape surrounded by etched leafy designs on the front. The tiny etched designs were filled with black enamel but some of that has worn through time. The back of this Retro Era heart locket is plain with no design. The locket closes securely.
The locket hangs from a 14K gold filled chain that is 18" long. It has a spring ring clasp that opens and closes securely. The chain has has 1/20 14K GF on the clasp.
Inside this locket are two heart shaped wells for photos.
Etched heart pendant is approx. 7/8" long x 3/4" wide.
The chain is 18" in length.

Heart locket with chain weighs 3.8 grams in total.
The locket alone weighs 2.8 grams.
The chain alone weighs 1.0 grams

1/20 12K GF and a trapizoid shape on the locket's inner frame
1/20 14K GF on the chain
This Retro era heart shaped locket is in fair to nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. The back has some fine scratching consistent with vintage wear/age. See photos for detail.
A very sweet heart locket from the 1940-1960 time frame. While there is some wear to the enamel inside the tiny etched designs on the front of this "Timeworn Treasure", it can continue to provide joy in the present! The item's price reflects condition.
