Vintage statement ring with 33 purple glass stones set in an ornate flower shape. This ring features a multi-layered design with the glass or paste stones set as a flower in bloom. The stones are set in place with silver colored prongs (white gold electroplate) and provide contrast against the yellow gold color of the rest of the ring.
The center stone on this ring features a round faceted gem that is approximately 5mm in size. There are 12 marquis cut glass gems around this round central stone that make up the floral design. The split shoulders on this cocktail ring add to the open and airy flowery setting.
The ring is marked 18K HGE which means it is heavy gold electroplate or gold plated. This means there is a thin layer of 18K gold over a base metal. (It is not what some people refer to as “solid gold”, but instead is a very thin layer of gold over a base metal.)
