A vintage ornate oval locket that is etched on the front and plain on the back side. It features an oval cartouche design with swirls all around it and a bit more of them at the top and bottom of the cartouche. The sides of this oval pendant are beveled and have a scalloped line all around them. The back of the locket is plain with no design.
The locket has a fanned bale with some decorative vertical lines on it. The locket hangs nicely from a new 18” long 14K gold filled chain. The locket closes securely.
The inside of the locket has 2 photo wells that are currently empty and are ready for your photos.
The locket is in fair to nice vintage condition with wear and scratching consistent with vintage age - circa 1970s.
The chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the clasp. Chain clasp closes securely.
Locket measures approx. 1 1/4" x 7/8”.
