Vintage wooden hinged lid box that has dovetailed corners. The lid or the top that opens on two brass colored metal hinges in the back.
The top of this retro wooden box features two brass colored metal pieces that make it look like a little chest. The front also has two of this little accents that add to its charm.
There is a small brass latch loop on the top center that has a keyhole. The box sits on 4 short pedestal feet.
This rustic wooden trinket or storage decor piece has two brass handles - one on either side.
The wood is a light and a medium dark reddish brown and the hinges and decorative edges have lots of wear and patina.
The sides of the box have handles that have a nice design on the inner portion of the brass loops.
The key is missing so it does not lock but the latch does open and close as intended.
There is wear commensurate with vintage age on the box overall.
Measures 10” x 8” and is about 5” high.
