This is a set of 4 very retro (like they stepped right out of the '70s) coffee cups or mugs by Frankoma. These cups have a nice heft to them and a great retro appearance - a nice example of vintage restaurant ware. They are a mustard yellow or dark yellow color on the exterior and on the interior. The bottoms are signed FRANKOMA C13.
NOTE: Frankoma was founded in 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma, by John Frank, hence the name FRANKOMA - a combination of Frank and Oklahoma. He was a professor of ceramics at the University of Oklahoma in the 1920 and 1930s.
Great vintage look - ready for you to use! There are some wear or use marks on the bottoms as would be expected vintage mugs of this age. One of the mugs has a chip in the glaze on the bottom edge - see photo for detail. Price reflects this condition.
Measure 4 1/4'' tall, approx. 3'' wide (without handle) at the top, base has a 2 2/3" diameter.
Each mug holds 6 ounces comfortably.
