A wonderful vintage 7 piece table setting in the Coupe pattern that was made by Noritake China in Japan circa 1930.
The 7 pieces include a dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, cup, saucer, soup bowl and a dessert/sauce bowl.
The vintage pattern n this table setting features a black band, gold flowers an leaves on an off-white or cream colored background. The centers of these pieces white, while the sides are an off-white with fine gold lines of accent trim. The floral band around the top edges are gold and have a black band beneath it. A very handsome pattern by Noritake, a well-known Japanese maker of fine china.

dinner plate - 10 1/2" diameter
salad plate - 7 7/8" diameter
bread and butter plate - 6 1/4" diameter
soup bowl - 7 1/2" diameter, 1 1/2" high
fruit / dessert / sauce bowl - 5 1/2" diameter, 1 1/2" high
cup - 4" diameter, 2" high
saucer - 6" diameter
In nice vintage condition with little wear to the gold trim - the pieces look very nice, especially for their age.
Gold Hallmark with an "M" for Morimura in a wreath, crowned by "NORITAKE CHINA" and below "Made in Japan". This mark dates the piece to the 1930s.
