$30.60 $34.00

A wonderful vintage round lidded vegetable or serving dish in the Coupe pattern that was made by Noritake China in Japan circa 1930. The pattern features a black band, gold flowers an leaves on an off-white or cream colored background. The very bottom on the bowl is white, while the sides are an off-white with a fine gold line of trim. The floral band around the top edge is gold and has a black band beneath it. A very handsome pattern by Noritake, a well-known Japanese maker of fine china. This covered serving bowl has a bit of an Art Deco flair - the top knob is at an angle and it is a low sleek shape.

Measurements:
12" across from end of handle to end of handle. It is 4 1/2" high to the top of the knob on the lid.
lid - 8 1/4" diameter
bowl - 9" diameter without the handles

In nice vintage condition with little wear to the gold trim - looks very nice, especially for its age.

Gold Hallmark with an "M" for Morimura in a wreath, crowned by "NORITAKE CHINA" and below "Made in Japan". This mark dates the piece to the 1930s.

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them.
